Who We Are
We, at SE Home Care Service, are dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities through increased access to integrated life choices including education, employment and recreation. We were established to provide love and quality care services to individuals with developmental disabilities, to enable them live, work, socialize and participate more actively in the community.
Our services are client driven, individualized, and relevant to the needs of the individual, and shall be provided in a manner that promotes the individual’s health, safety, choice, self-determination, independence, and general well-being. The organization emphasizes participation, consultation, client satisfaction and the empowerment of the individual. We service Northern Virginia.
Our Commitment
We are committed to assisting children, adolescents and adults from ages 5 and above with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence and self-worth by providing the appropriate supports. SE Home Care Services was established in Alexandria as a private, for-profit agency that promotes independent living skills and provides assisted living supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and will start operations as a Supportive In-home Services Agency for adolescents, youths and adults serving ages above thirteen. SE Home Care Service is guided by a Board of Directors, which is dedicated to our vision to promote the independence and inclusion of each individual that we shall be supporting. We emphasize ability, not disability, and promote the belief that everyone can learn, everyone can make choices in his or her life, and everyone can contribute to the environment in which he or she lives.
